The Metabolic Reset With Dale program is a 12 week online program developed to reset your metabolism and help you lose weight with expert coaching from Dale. The program has set starting and finishing dates, but you can repeat it as many times as you wish.

What’s Included In The Program

Fitness and Nutrition

Your fitness program is customised to you – your experience, goals and equipment/ facilities available. Dale will assess you prior to the online program to tailor it. Even if you have no equipment and no gym membership it is not a problem.

The program will develop during the 12 weeks at your one to one sessions with Dale. You also have full access to the workouts available on the Fit Body Confidence app.

Nutrition recommendations and eating guidance tailored to your requirements and goals. These aren’t set meal plans or diets, you’ll be eating regularly with more nutritious foods without cutting out “sometimes foods” completely.

Each month an e-recipe book with shopping list is provided for your convenience.

Resources

Every month Dale will hold a live online educational webinar covering a new topic about managing menopause or peri-menopause symptoms, and other topics. Yes, it will be recorded if you can’t make it live.

You’ve also got full access to the Fit Body Confidence app which includes workouts, recipes, meditation and a suite of resources to help you make time for yourself.

The Fit Body Confidence app includes accountability habit tracking to set your new routines into habits for life.

Support

Monthly 20 minute one to one online meetings with Dale where she sets or recalibrates your goals, reviews your progress, makes adjustments, reviews your form, and helps you manage personal challenges.

Fortnightly 30-45 minute small group (4-10 women) online calls where we work through technique, problem solving and Q&As. Calls are scheduled at 2-3 different times during the week to try to suit your cohort (group). And, yes, they are recorded if you can’t make it.

Of course, you’ll have private message access to your trainer, Dale, between these calls. Messages will be answered within 48 hours, Monday-Friday office hours.

You’ll also have a private chat group with your starting cohort (group) of women where the community supports each other in their shared Metabolic Reset journey.

What To Expect

Before the Program Screening You’ll meet online with Dale after filling in a health survey. She may recommend a visit to your health practitioner if you require medical clearance or want to improve particular health markers such as blood pressure, lipids, insulin resistance, hormones, etc. You’ll get a baseline before the program then a follow up at 3 months to measure your improvements. Body composition measurement can be as low or high tech as you prefer, ranging from a measuring tape to a body composition DEXA scan.

Dale will work with you to identify and write your goals; they may involve weight or fat loss, fitness levels, or metabolic health measures.

Based on the screening process and goals, Dale will write your customised fitness program and nutrition guidelines which you’ll access on your own program page of the app.

Your 12 Week Journey

  • Weeks 1-2: You’ll be learning new exercise movements and enjoying a new routine. You’ll discover new foods and new ways of approaching food and eating. Energy improvements and better sleep often appear first.
  • Weeks 3-4: Your body will be laying down new connections between the brain and muscles with your fitness program. Strength gains become noticeable. Depending on your goals, you should see some fat loss.
  • Weeks 4-8: You will be starting to feel like your new routine is becoming a habit. Consistent energy levels will be noticeable now. For some women the wheels may fall off at this point and Dale will help you manage these challenges so you can focus on your strategies.
  • Weeks 8-12: Sustainable habits are now locked in. You’ll notice physical changes are visible, with improvements in toning and body composition, if they were included in your goals. Metabolic adaptations can be measured at week 12 to see if you have achieved improvements in pathology.
